Ewan's career as a performer has bridged the worlds of theatre, music, and dance. With a background as a principal dancer in Matthew Bourne’s celebrated dance company, he has worked as an actor with the countries foremost theatre companies including The RSC, Kneehigh, Wise Children, Headlong and Complicite, appearing at Shakespeare's Globe, The Old Vic and The Barbican.

Alongside his theatrical career, Ewan is a seasoned musician and multi-instrumentalist. He tours internationally with the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, sings, plays banjo and dances for the band The Servants Ball and has collaborated with renowned folk artists Eliza and Martin Carthy.

Ewan is also a founding member of The Bo Diddlers a genre defying Morris dance group.
